BIOGRAPHY
Known as 'the world's most rebellious group', Rebels is an award-winning dynamic duo of versatile artists –
Tazro & Trance. Rebels deliver a raw and relentless sound that may sound atypical to the Gospel genre;
showcasing that the GoodNews of Jesus is a one-size fits all, whilst remaining true to the youthfulness of their style.
The summer of 2022 saw the release of their debut single "Eternal Cypher' –
an infectious rap song praising Jesus as the eternal King of ages, which was released with an impressivly bold & energetic music video,
amassing over 14,000 streams in the first weak of release.
The duo followed up with more power-packed singles, including The Way' and The Code', as well as their debut EP titled 'Diplomatic Immunity'.
BACKGROUND
Being both of Zimbabwean heritage, the duo have grown up with musical influences from UK rap and grime, and US rap.
Both Tazro and Trance transformed their lives from being heavily involved in gang activity during their adolescent years to being innovative leaders amongst
Christian youth worldwide. Both have been individually curating music since 2015, developing unique and distinctive styles of flow and lyricism;
upon crossing paths in Spirit Embassy: The GoodNews Church, they went on to inevitably form the Rebels music group.
The duo's bold and unapologetic stage presence has pushed Rebels to the forefront of the Gospel rap scene in many countries, including the UK, Zimbabwe, UAE and more!
December 2023 saw the Rebels perform live in concert with a vibrant audience of over 7,000 fans at the Harare Hippodrome in Zimbabwe.
It is no surprise that fans eagerly await the release of more hard-hitting songs from the Rebels.
