MOBO-Award winning British Gospel group Volney Morgan & New-Ye are starting 2024 with a bang in the form of their first offering ‘He Is’.
Taking an underrated Brandy classic from her Grammy-winning “Full Moon” album, Volney Morgan and New-Ye make it their own by blending Gospel with RnB in a way that hasn’t been done before, and after hearing it, you’ll wonder why. 

With luscious strings and intimate piano, Volney Morgan & New-Ye, accompanied by a stunning additional lead vocal from choir member Destiny, take you on a journey reflecting on what God is to us in our individual lives. 

“I have always wanted to cover this song! Since I first heard it, I felt like it was a Gospel song and then I found out that was how Warryn Campbell originally wrote it and I knew I just had to do it with New-Ye one day; this Unplugged EP was the perfect moment.’ Volney Morgan 

Accompanied by a live video shot by award-winning videographer Dominic Doring, New-Ye’s Unplugged EP is New-Ye in their element - live, but this is a stripped-back twist that we haven’t seen from them yet. Expect spirit-filled worship moments, up-tempo acoustic vibes, and the unexpected. 

Having ended 2023 with a live at Maida Vale session for BBC 1Xtra and editorial support from all major DSPs, 2024 will see Volney Morgan and New-Ye once again getting crowds jumping on Mainstage at Big Church Festival and hitting both the Christian and mainstream airwaves across the globe.
